Womp. The database was corrupted and I had to use a backup from 2018 (in 2021). Sorry for any data loss. A server update also broke a bunch of the site (I've got it mostly working, but some things may still be busted). Another unrelated server update also busted the way my wii homebrew connected to the site (so none of them can go online anymore and they may never change). Have I mentioned that I've had problems with this cheap web host?
You can check out whatever new projects I have in the works over on twitter at @BoringDevKate.

Since the Homebrew Channel revolves around hacking and whatnot, there is no doubt in mind that emulators should also be included! (Just hope for the best because emulators are not perfect) :( Other than that, start downloading your favorite classic VG ROMS! =)

To help get you started, I'll include the link to a DS emulator site: http://desmume.org/
DeSmuME is the exact same app that is available on the Homebrew Channel. I would much rather play my DS games on my laptop because I once tried it with my Wii but it ended up being unplayable. Personally, I think the games run rather smoothly and from what people say, this is the best DS emulator up for download aside from another one that is specifically made for android devices.

Well, how can you play your favorite games? Just download the specific ROM files! Here is the essential site needed to do that: http://coolrom.com/
CoolROM.com is definetly my #1 choice when I download my ROM files. This site has a broad variety of emulators that range from many different consoles! All you have to do is hover your mouse over emulators and click on your console of choice. Then, just choose the type of emulator software you personally use (DeSmuME, for example) and you're good to go from there on out!

Before you go on any further, may I suggest you have Ad Blocking software installed onto your browser along with a working and active anit-virus! It's just always good to be on the safe side! =)
