Womp. The database was corrupted and I had to use a backup from 2018 (in 2021). Sorry for any data loss. A server update also broke a bunch of the site (I've got it mostly working, but some things may still be busted). Another unrelated server update also busted the way my wii homebrew connected to the site (so none of them can go online anymore and they may never change). Have I mentioned that I've had problems with this cheap web host?

I decided to make this thread because I had seen some unhandled situation in the site, and that is: opinions or facts. Let's get started.

Opinions are opinions: everyone has em'. Facts are facts: they are proven. There should be complete proof why Android or Apple sucks.

"Android is better, Apple is terrible" or vice versa: That's a personal opinion (or just one). Anybody can disagree on that. Saying that this or that sucks and starting some offensive responses to it IN PUBLIC will start the fire, aka, DRAMA. You can't prove it is a fact without complete evidence. It's sure that you could have at least little evidence, but what if it's actually true? Whether if it is correct evidence or it is true, that doesn't finish it all.

Everybody has their, let's say, "electronic taste buds", if that makes sense. I personally do not hate Android or Apple: both of them are good and useful to me and I certainly have nothing against them. I give them respect for their work, both Apple and Android. I have a Kindle Fire which it is Android-powered, an iMac and an iPod Touch. I like those products.

It is certainly annoying when somebody says "This is better, that thing sucks and"- blah blah blegh. The nice thing to instead say is "This is my favorite, but I don't like that. However, I have nothing againdt the device AND the company". And if somebody gets so mad because of the nice response, they shouldn't be. Get over with it.

A sentence that reminds me, this quote b I quote a user's reply, which this user's name is known as EarBudSurgery: "If you have nothing nice to say, DON'T EVEN BOTHER". That actually made me think, that I should be careful when I am going to say something. Always be careful and think before you post/reply something not-so suitable and nice. Everyone wants peace, so let peace flow. Nobody wants a war of drama, so don't let it happen AT ALL.

Ok. Heres my take on this sort of situation:

Im ok with someone not agreeing to my opinion. Thats OK! But I will CHALLENGE whoever disagrees to try to get them to see my side of things and see why THEY are wrong. Im ok with them doing the same to me. But when someone as immature as this Apple user, im sorry, but im going to fight and win, and laugh a little along the way. I posted those pictures prepared to take the heat, and take the heat I shall.

That's a terrible idea. If you start a challenge to fight somebody and prove that this or that is better than the other, the fight will never end. Nobody is going to win. Also, posting those pictures to take the heat: worse. That causes flamebating, as the person who had done this gets targetted to get attacked.

You can't prove that Android is better than Apple because it's YOUR OPINION. You can't prove that Apple is better than ANDROID because it's also YOUR OR THEIR OPINION. Also, can you give me a clear sentence on what you mean on this line: "But I will challenge whoever disagrees to try to get them to see my side of things and see why they are wrong.

Technically you could prove which one is better, but you would just need to pick a method of marking. For instance, if one has more pros or cons than the other.

Yes.

@TLM Thats how I would do it. Exactly. I also still don't quit understand hows its a bad idea. It will end. And it is fair. Its not like im saying WHAT I THINK IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I let the other person express their feelings and take them into account. Then I prove (if I can) that that idea is wrong.

I already made a decision earlier. Ill quote: "Im getting tired of this troll. Im done arguing about Apple Vs Android to. I proved my point and he still has not defended his."
